The word Ohana is a Hawaiian word meaning family. In Hawaiian "Family" means " No one is left behind or forgotten".

Hospitality - The group has embarked upon setting up a chain of fine dining restaurants and night clubs in Kolkata, the first one was launched on 1st December 2007. Ohana - Films - Ohana has tied up to produce telefilms of 60 minute duration for telecast in international television audiences.
On 15th May 2007 Ohana received sanction to produce 130 episodes of Trishul to be telecast every weekday at 1525 hrs on Door Darshan. Following the phenomenal success of Trishul and ever increasing viewership of Trishul, Door Darshan further sanctioned a total of 325 episodes for telecasting Trishul.
Since commencing telecast, Trishul has been the number 1 television serial of Door darshan, running for some 18 months till date.

Chayan Bhattacharjee has over 17 years progressive career spanning across five continents specializing in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Hospitality, Media and entertainment. His major achievements have been in successfully grooming sick and failure companies. His achievements have been recognized by the Global Economic Council via felicitations in 2003 – International Gold Star Millennium Award, in 2004 – Pride of India Award, in 2005 – Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award in addition to membership at various international chambers of commerce.
